资料来源:www.msn.com.cn Report ignites rate hike fears   Wall Street worries about higher interest rates as fourth quarter GDP is revised higher.   Jeanne Yurman reports from New York.   Fourth quarter U.S. GDP was revised higher sparking some worries that interest rates may climb higher.   Sales of pre-owned homes dropped nearly 3 percent in January -- a day after new home sales registered its slowest pace of growth in a year. The reports continue to point to a cooling trend in the nation's housing market.   Meanwhile business activity in the U.S. midwest grew at a slower pace than forecast according to the National Association of Purchasing Management.   U.S. consumers are feeling a little less confident according to a February report by the Conference Board. Consumers surveyed said they view their current situation positively but are concerned about the future.   In business news, Daimler Chrysler's Chrysler Group is scouting for a partner to introduce a subcompact car in North America. The U.S. group's CEO said they've narrowed down the list to a few names, which includes Volkswagen.   Also in the auto sector BMW's CEO predicts solid 2006 results according to comments made in a Reuters interview. Late Monday BMW reported double digit sales increases for February.   And U.S. regulators gave marketing approval to the first skin patch to treat major depression in adults called Emsam -- according to its manufacturers, Mylan Laboratories and Watson Pharmaceuticals.   Jeanne Yurman reports from New York.
